Carnage

Carnage production model.

I contributed the Carnage model to this animation. The character has several features that needed to be accounted for early. His ability to form weapons from his limbs and his tendrils. Without knowing the exact shots this character would under go it put me in a position to have to problem solve for the most versatility possible. Modeling the tendrils at origin, straight and adding varying lengths gave rigging and animation what they needed to be able to make them as performant as possible and the foresight to compensate for texture stretching in extreme cases is where the longer tendrils came in. His weapons were sourced from comic reference we looked at how the character typically engaged his weapon arms and modeled them to the planes of his arms and duplicated them so he can deploy any weapon on any arm simultaneously. The animation turned out great.
